4 Life lessons that can be taken from “How I met your mother ”

In this lockdown when things changed immensely for each and every one of us ,I watched this show called How I met your mother. I noticed that there are a lot of things which can be learnt from this show. Here are a few I noticed.

THINGS SPROUT WELL WHEN YOU CONSISTENTLY BELIEVE IN THEM

Ted Mosby is a hopeless romantic who keeps on chasing a perfect lady for him. He never stops looking for the one and chasing the perfect woman. He failed at a lot of things, take for instance Mosbius designs(an architectural firm that he started) but it was not destiny (not talking about the stripper),or talent which made him fail. It was not believing in himself that did. HIMYM teaches us in the power of belief and consistently putting our best foot forward to make them real.

LIFE GOES ON!!!

HIMYM shows a lot of problems throughout the show, but gradually everything becomes better when you have the correct people to get through with it. Even after so many heartbreaks and problems ,the whole crew keeps moving forward and eventually the path smoothens up, the grief dilutes and LIFE GOES ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON AND ON…….All of this indicates that there is no such thing as the end of a line, instead the journey is all that matters .

CHANGE IS NOT THE ONLY CONSTANT

Throughout the show, we can see all the characters going through a lot of changes. All of the characters learn from their experiences and adapt accordingly, something that all of the human beings do. They react differently under different conditions and hence discover a lot of interesting things about themselves. However, they are always there for each other. While change is the only constant, the characters in this show somehow always remain true to their roots, try to be happy in every turn and evolve.

WE ARE MORE THAN WHAT WE THINK WE ARE

Throughout the show ,the perceived images of the characters keep on developing. The characters keep on fitting themselves in boxes, but they only truly outshine when they step out of that box. It might be scary at first as for a moment, feeling that we don’t know ourselves but that’s because the box breaks when we step out of it putting our mental image in a void. Slowly, we discover that we fit in a much larger box. This keeps on happening, and the box keeps getting larger and larger and larger, but the more we step out that box, the more we come close to our reality.

So thats it folks, drop a comment on my writing and whether I missed something.Until then peace out
